The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the ferry port and the historic center of Salerno. The room was bright, clean, and had a spacious layout with high ceilings and a big window providing views of the sea (despite some scaffolding). The warm hospitality from Vittoria made the stay even more delightful, along with great recommendations for local dining and sightseeing.
Scaffolding obstructing view.

The location stood out, just a short walk from the ferry port and historic center. My room offered a lovely layout with high ceilings and a large window, providing some decent sea views despite the surrounding scaffolding. The room was clean and had plenty of toiletries. The balcony was nice, although it was covered with netting during my stay. Vittoria, the host, enhanced my experience with great local dining recommendations and a welcoming attitude. The lack of coffee in the mornings was a bit disappointing, but the nearby cafes compensated for that. Overall, it seems like it has great potential once the renovations are done.

this hotel has the audacity to claim luxury while making guests endure old, clunky elevators and terrifying smells wafting from the sewer. i expected a complimentary breakfast given these unbearable conditions, but alas, guess i wasn’t special enough. they basically lied about the ocean view, so it really is fraud masquerading as hospitality. absoluteley ridiculous!

beautiful vase for flowers, potential for the building, warm hospitality
The building is covered in scaffolding and mesh screening, making any promised ocean views a farce!!! An unpleasant smell permeated the lobby area. Renovation completion would lift overall quality significantly!!!

Unexpected charm in a busy city
The warm hospitality from the staff made for an unforgettable stay, with personalized recommendations for local dining that truly enhanced our Salerno experience.
Unfortunately, the smell in the lobby detracted from the overall ambiance, and the old elevator gave an unsettling sense of age to the building.
